MEXICO (MAG BAY)
(Fully Booked)
4-11 Jan 2025

Based in Puerto San Carlos, we have the ability to go offshore on a daily basis depending on weather, swell, and the angler’s desires. During our season we expect daily encounters with giant feeder schools of striped marlin, aggressively hunting sardine and mackerel bait balls. This natural phenomenon truly provides guests with world class fishing opportunities and gives anglers the chance to sight fish to feeding marlin, wahoo, sailfish, and mahi mahi using fly rods and spin tackle.
Mangroves: Inside the bay are countless mangrove systems, many of which, see very little, if any, sport fishing pressure. This region offers 100’s of miles of mangrove systems where anglers can target species on fly rods and light spin tackle. While using the tide to drift, anglers float and cast to mangrove structures that offer cover for aggressive ambush attacks from large snook, grouper, snapper and many other species.
Roosters: Mag Bay is home to healthy Rooster Fish numbers and depending on the day and tide they can be targeted either from a boat or from land. Anglers have the ability to fish for this aggressive species using fly rods, light spin tackle, and conventional setups

The Wessel Islands are one of Australia’s most remote and untouched fly fishing destinations. Nestled at the top of the Northern Territory, the network of coves and clear sandy flats create a fly fisherman’s paradise.
Two species of Indo-Pacific Permit are available – T.Anak and T.Blochii, and the endemic Blue Bastards and Black Spotted Tusk Fish also provide an inviting flats challenge. If you are looking for variety, Queenfish, Barramundi, Giant Trevally, Spanish Mackerel, Coral Trout, Golden Trevally, Brassy Trevally and Giant Herring all inhabit the flats, mangrove creeks and rocky island channels.
The diversity of fish is matched only by the remoteness of the location. The fishery has remained largely untouched and ‘The Wessels’ in collaboration with Aussie Fly Fisher & Wildcard Luxury Tours are currently the only licensed operator accessing these pristine island flats.
The fly fishing is first class, and your trip is completed by a spacious 70ft Mothership – ‘Wildcard’. The Wildcard family have 40 years experience in the region, and will ensure your fly fishing trip is a memorable one, both on and off the flats.

The landmass of Kamchatka stabs south from mainland Siberia, slicing into the Bering Sea just west of Alaska. It’s jagged coastlines are lapped by fish-rich waters, its snow-capped horizons are dotted by strato-volcanoes, and its valleys are carved deep by over 12,000 pristine spring creeks and rivers. Virtually none of the peninsula has been impacted by man. It’s a trout, salmon and char Utopia. This coast-to-coast, trackless wilderness is inaccessible to all modes of transportation except horse, jet-boat and iconic orange and blue MI-8 helicopters.
All of these trips are rustic and wild and not for everyone. They require a reasonable degree of physical fitness and mental stamina. The payoff is the simple guarantee that they’ll set hearts pounding with trout fishing like you’ve never seen, in a setting that few people have ever seen.
